A true lifer in Louisville, Amy was born and raised in the great Bluegrass State. Her first taste of the hospitality industry was during her first summer job as a photographer at the Louisville Zoo. Three summers and countless sunburns later, she knew her career would be customer-focused.
While in college at Morehead State University, settling on a major in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Philosophy was an easy choice as she was able to blend together two of her passions – writing and client relations. This has allowed her to come into situations with a unique perspective and better equipped to develop solutions.
Amy spent the first eight years of her career at a local marketing agency where she managed a team that specialized in meeting the advertising and marketing needs for businesses nationwide. Her dedication to her client’s satisfaction and her ability to be a self-starter and fast learner is what fueled her ability to advance quickly within the industry.
Amy came to Hipp Inspired to further utilize her unique skill set and to branch further out into the hospitality industry. It was evident that Hipp Inspired was a company that prides itself in client satisfaction and the attitude of stopping at nothing until the job is done to perfection. That, coupled with the “golden grass” environment she uses to describe Hipp Inspired – she has found her niche.
Outside of work, Amy is married to Andy, who just happens to be the guy she had a crush on during her summers at the zoo. Together, they have a daughter, Abby, who completes the A.K. trio. They also have a standard (huge!) poodle named Jack Bauer. Between Abby and Jack, the Kaelin’s keep busy with living room dance parties, Disney Movie marathons and long games of fetch.
